Ways to Support

Cookbook & Logo Wear

Our Marketplace Committee oversees the sales and distribution of our award-winning cookbooks, coordinates ‘swaps’ with other Leagues, and manages our logo wear.  Bulk purchase rates apply for all our books

Touch-A-Truck

This annual event provides children with a hands-on opportunity to explore working trucks and meet the people who build, protect and serve the Spokane community.  Touch-A-Truck attracts a significant number of non-members, giving the League an opportunity to educate the public about our mission.  Learn more at our Touch-A-Truck webpage.

Planned Giving

Planned Giving refers to any substantial gift that involves financial or estate planning.  A Planned Gift can be anything from a piece of art, real estate, stocks, bonds, mutual funds or a percentage of a retirement asset.  This can be done by anyone, not just our members.  This is a wonderful way to leave a legacy for future generations of the League.  Please talk to the Funding Director for more information.

Funding Resource Management

This committee is responsible for diversifying sources of revenue for our League.  This includes Sponsorships, Grants, evaluation of emerging fundraisers, and the development of new Signature Events.

Annual Campaign – includes Corporate Matching Gifts

Our Annual Appeal allows the League to maintain the overall operation of our organization as well as to meet emerging needs.  We strive for 100% participation from our members and Sustainers to show member commitment to our mission.  Many employers offer a corporate MATCH for this type of giving.  Please talk to the Funding Director for help coordinating an employer match.
